Building Permits and Zoning Information

Building permits may be obtained at the City Office at 1005 W. Elm Ave., Flandreau, SD 57028 (telephone # 605-997-2492). Permits are issued upon review and approval by the City Administrator. Fees are:

Building Permit - $15 plus $1 per thousand over $5,000
Sign Permit - $15
Sidewalk Permit - $15
Building Moving Permit - $15
Building Demolition Permit - $15
Variance/Special Exception/Rezoning - $75

Permits requiring a variance, special exception or rezoning issue will be forwarded to the the Planning & Zoning Commission who meet as needed at the City Office, 1005 W. Elm Avenue, Flandreau, SD 57028.
