Historical Society (MCHS)

The Moody County Historical Society (MCHS) was founded in 1964. The purpose of this society is to collect, preserve, exhibit and publish material for the study of history – particularly the history of Moody County and adjacent areas.

Family histories, documents, letters, reports, microfilm, CDs, books pictures, relics pertaining to Moody County and narratives of the pioneers are acquired and preserved by the society.
