Flandreau Municipal Airport
The Flandreau Municipal Airport (FP3) provides convenient, general aviation access to the Flandreau area for pilots, businesses, and visitors. Located just south of town at 48049 SD-34, the airport offers a well-maintained runway, self-service fueling, and quick access to local amenities.
The airport is owned and operated by the City of Flandreau and supports recreational flying, agriculture operations, training flights, and business travel. Whether you're stopping in for a quick refuel or visiting our community, we're happy to welcome you to Flandreau.

Airport Improvements & Expansion:
The Flandreau Municipal Airport expansion project continues to move forward with plans to replace the current runway with a 4,172 x 75 foot runway capable of serving nearly 90% of general aviation aircraft. Improvements will enhance safety, support medical air transport services, and provide space for up to 20 hangars. Design work is underway with Helms & Associates and construction is expected to begin next year, with project completion anticipated in 2027.
