City of Flandreau to Assume Ambulance Operations in 2026

Beginning January 1, 2026, the City of Flandreau will assume full operation of the local ambulance service.  This change marks an important step in continuing to provide reliable, high-quality emergency medical care for residents of Flandreau and the surrounding area.

The City and County are working closely on this transition to ensure this is a seamless transition for both patients and employees.

As part of this transition, The City of Flandreau is recruiting Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT's) and Paramedics to join our team.
