Living History - Crystal Theater

One of oldest theaters in South Dakota offering live performances, the Crystal Theater was built in 1913 to accommodate films and vaudeville. Located at 215 E. 2nd Avenue, Flandreau, the "Crystal" is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Today, the Crystal Theater serves as a community meeting, education and cultural center for area residents. The theater serves as an integral part of the Flandreau Public School system for theatrical and musical productions. Also, the theater is available for meetings and cultural productions.
